Impact Statement: Starting at 01:13 UTC on 13 November 2024, a small number of customers may experience DNS resolution failures when connecting to Azure Storage Accounts. Customers with affected Storage Accounts using Azure Databricks may experience issues launching clusters and serverless compute resources.

Current Status: We've identified the issue and are currently applying mitigation actions. Customers should start seeing signs of recovery as we progress. An update will be provided in 1 hour, or as events warrant.

  • Nov 62024
Starting approximately at 4:00 UTC on 06 November 2024, customers using Azure Databricks in the USGov Arizona and USGov Virginia regions may experience authentication failures when logging into the Azure Databricks portal. Impact for this issue is currently limited to customers launching workspaces through the Databricks portal. All other operations and workflows should remain unaffected. We have determined that a planned certificate rotation did not complete as expected, leading to the certificate requiring an update and the Azure Databricks portal becoming unavailable for a subset of customers. Our team is currently in the process of rotating the impacted certificates, which should mitigate this issue. The next update will be provided within two hours, or as events warrant.
